BIO

Joshua Lee has been juggling since 2006, but has always been quite the character, and recently realized the stage was where to be and circus was his calling.

Joshua has juggled for many different events, reasons, and venues; for thousands of people at the Philadelphia Flower Show for multiple years; as the opener on stage at The State Theater in Ithaca, New York; as a non-singing juggling extra in the award winning Sea and Sun (Marina) opera; on an intimate stage at Fit Fest 2021 in Philly; for an International Juggler's Association scholarship award in 2019; for Philly Fringe in multiple capacities; parades, bars, dance clubs, schools, and more.

Joshua has also spent several years teaching and coaching juggling to folks of all ages; circus camps at Circus Culture; after-school programs for Ithaca school district; for Cornell University's physical education department for a certified college course; different juggling clubs, festivals, parks, community outreach programs and anywhere there is interest in learning to juggle.

Joshua is a graduate from Circadium School of Contemporary Circus where he presented his thesis in ring juggling and movement.  He is currently constructing a full-length solo show and a plethora of duo acts for a show with his partner Jenny Kinzel.  Joshua is looking forward to the opportunity to travel and connect globally via his circus vocabulary as he goes wherever his juggling may take him.

"As a very self driven and motivated individual, I find circus to be a welcomed challenge and an ever constant exercise in personal growth.  In any situation, whether it is teaching a workshop at a local community center, leading a class for college age students, or performing on stage, I put forth my full effort and ambition. I thank you for your time and I look forward to answering any further questions you may have for me."
